P.7 pupils came to our class last week and asked us if we wanted to take part in a competition to draw a picture of a sport from the Commonwealth Games. We could make it for a famous sportsperson if we wanted and send them a message. We decided to stick to athletics and in particular, running, as we were practising how to draw a person running in this week’s art lesson. We chose either Usain Bolt or Mo Farah.
